circularity / circular economy
RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION OF RESOURCES
We assist clients with improving the efficient use of their resources to enhance circularity across various disciplines including energy consumption, procurement activities, raw materials use, waste generation and water consumption.
CONSUMING & PRODUCING MORE EFFICIENTLY
Circularity/ Circular Economy & Resource Efficiency
Resource efficiency is key in the pursuit of circularity. It involves consuming and producing goods and services more sustainably, through the adoption of lean practices to eliminate unnecessary consumption and waste.
Circularity / Circular Economy
In our current economy, we take materials from the Earth, make products from them, and eventually throw them away as waste – the process is linear. In a circular economy, by contrast, we stop waste being produced in the first place.
The circular economy is based on three principles, driven by design:
- Eliminate waste and pollution
- Circulate products and materials (at their highest value)
- Regenerate nature
It is underpinned by a transition to renewable energy and materials. A circular economy decouples economic activity from the consumption of finite resources. It is a resilient system that is good for business, people and the environment.
The circular economy is a systems solution framework that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution.

Supporting Clients
We support clients by reviewing processes to identify how they can reduce and eliminate waste and pollution through improved design of processes and services to optimise the resources used.
We have supported several clients from small office based organisations to large manufacturers identifying improvements in administrative processes, raw materials use, energy and water consumption and the procurement of supplies.
Resource efficiency is key to the migration towards a more circular economy.
